CarnaLife Holo.
The patient as a hologram in the operating field
From CT and MRI data to a hologram in real space.
Imaging data from CT and MRI is turned into a three-dimensional hologram that the physician sees in real space. Rotating, scaling and stepping inside the anatomical structures is controlled by gesture and voice — without losing sterility and without an additional technician.

3D imaging system supporting precision, comfort and safety of medical procedures zabiegów medycznych
CarnaLife Holo is a breakthrough technology for three-dimensional visualisation of diagnostic data, supporting the planning and execution of medical procedures. With the help of goggles, the doctor sees a three-dimensional hologram in the real space reflecting the structure of the anatomic area being imaged.
The user can interact with the displayed hologram, rotating, scaling, moving, or even entering the anatomical structures – using gestures and voice commands, without losing sterility and without the need for additional technology.

Certification.
CarnaLife Holo is certified as a medical device supporting diagnosis in class IIa by TÜV NORD Polska Sp. z o.o., a notified body authorised by the Ministry of Health.
We also have a Natowski Code of the National Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE - NATO Commercial and Government Entity).

How does CarnaLife Holo work?
![]()
Visualisation of data recorded in DICOM
CarnaLife Holo allows the visualisation of various anatomical structures, such as the brain, liver, heart, lungs, bones, kidneys, blood vessels, recorded using different imaging techniques, in the DICOM standard, such as: CT, MRI rotational angiography (3DRA), three-dimensional echocardiography (ECHO). It is an extremely useful tool for three-dimensional presentation of anatomical structures, among others in the field of cardiology, interventional cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, general surgery, laryngology, pulmonology or interventional radiology. The data can be presented in the form of volumetric, surface and MPR (MultiPlanar Reconstruction) visualisations.

Real-time visualisation directly from imaging devices
Thanks to the development of a custom module for visualising medical data, based on our own algorithms, the system allows direct connection with imaging devices, ensuring the display of holograms during the examination. An example of such an application is the collaboration with GE echocardiography (Vivid E95), where CarnaLife Holo is able to provide three-dimensional visualisation of data from the USG head in real time and display them as interactive holograms. This approach allows for independent checking of clinical conditions by the operator.

Collaboration with PACS systems
CarnaLife Holo collaborates with hospital PACS (Patient Archiving And Communication System) systems, allowing direct visualisation from the hospital information system, ensuring continuity of the doctor's work.
Simple and sterile interaction with the hologram
Using Microsoft HoloLens 2 mixed reality goggles, medical image visualizations are presented as holograms. The user can interact with the displayed image - for example, by rotating, scaling, moving it, or even entering inside anatomical structures - using gestures and voice commands, without compromising sterility or requiring assistance from an additional technician. The system also offers a range of features and tools, including scene personalization, filtering, scissors for removing unnecessary elements, and built-in presets (predefined sets of visualization parameters tailored to specific imaging techniques). It also allows the creation of new effects for specialized applications.
