CarnaLife Holo MedNav.
An intraoperative navigation system based on mixed reality technology, supporting the precision, comfort and safety of medical procedures

Project goal.
The aim of the project is to develop CarnaLife Holo MedNav – the world's first tool for actively assisting physicians in performing all types of needle biopsy, based on mixed reality (MR) technology and spatial holographic visualisation.
Project results.
The project will deliver a system that actively supports physicians, particularly less experienced ones, in performing biopsies both when planning and when carrying out the procedure. The system is designed to increase the precision, safety and effectiveness of such procedures.
The intraoperative navigation system for biopsy procedures developed in the project will be commercialised by applying the project's R&D results within MedApp S.A.'s own operations and by selling the system to healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics and other healthcare centres performing invasive diagnostic examinations) and to medical universities operating in Poland.
The intraoperative navigation system will be a universal product, ultimately available for use by medical institutions worldwide.
