In the fourth quarter of 2022 MedApp recorded PLN 1,026 thousand in sales revenue, PLN 513 thousand in EBITDA and PLN 480 thousand in net profit, signed further CarnaLife Holo distribution agreements and established MedApp RT.
MedApp, a listed company in the field of innovative technologies for medicine, despite the challenges medical facilities face with rising maintenance costs and general economic uncertainty, recorded PLN 1,026 thousand in sales revenue, PLN 513 thousand in EBITDA and PLN 480 thousand in net profit in the fourth quarter of 2022.
As in the previous quarters of 2022, the Company is observing longer sales processes in the Polish market and is working to shift its sales activity to foreign markets. To this end, the Company has signed further distribution agreements for the CarnaLife Holo solution – with LIVARTIX SRL in Romania and with TND LLP in Kazakhstan (covering distribution in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia).
MedApp continuously analyses the growing market for holographic visualisation of medical data with a view to its potential use in the Company's solutions.
In December 2022 we registered MedApp RT Sp. z o.o., thereby developing the MedApp Group. MedApp RT was established to carry out software development and R&D work on the use and adaptation of our technology in the field of radiotherapy. As a result, we plan to develop a new product dedicated to this specialty.
In October 2022 MedApp received confirmation from the European Union Intellectual Property Office of the registration of the word marks of its two flagship products: CarnaLife Holo and CarnaLife System. The marks enjoy legal protection in the EU for the next 10 years.
MedApp is focusing on the development of the technologies it offers while continuing the search for a strategic investor to recapitalise the Company, which will enable its further development on foreign markets and provide tangible support in the advanced process of obtaining U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for CarnaLife Holo as a medical device in the United States.
