MedApp looks to KPO funds for hospitals and enters the dental market.
In an interview with ISBnews, CEO David Odrakiewicz discusses the opportunity created by the multi-billion KPO outlay on hospital modernisation, the new dental segment and plans for another FDA submission.
MedApp, an innovative technology company listed on NewConnect, is actively monitoring funding opportunities from Poland's National Recovery Plan (KPO) for the technological modernisation of Polish hospitals. The company hopes to obtain financial support from these funds to promote its advanced CarnaLife Holo technology in medical facilities. In an interview with ISBnews, MedApp CEO David Odrakiewicz stressed the strategic importance of the domestic market for the company.
“
We want to be one of the beneficiaries of the multi-billion outlay from the KPO fund. We will gradually offer our CarnaLife Holo technology to more hospitals, so the domestic market remains very important to us.

The CEO also pointed out that, according to media reports, up to PLN 10 billion could go to some 200 Polish hospitals. “These are funds that should also modernise the existing equipment base. For us, as a provider of modern medical technologies, this is quite a challenge, but also an opportunity for potentially significant sales success on the Polish market,” he added.
A new segment: dentistry.
MedApp is also expanding its services into new medical specialties, including dentistry. “The new segment is dentistry, where physicians can benefit from our 3D/4D imaging in more complex procedures. In this particular case we are counting more on foreign customers, although, as I mentioned, it is a universal solution for all larger dental clinics,” Odrakiewicz explained.
The United States as the key market.
The United States remains the key market for MedApp. In May this year the company established a subsidiary there, MedApp USA Inc., together with its partner Habeel Gazi. MedApp plans to achieve its first operational successes this year. “We stand by these declarations. The coming weeks on the American market should be successful for us,” the CEO emphasised.
The company also plans to extend CarnaLife Holo with another FDA clearance, related to the use of the technology in intraoperative procedures. “We plan to submit an application for another FDA clearance by the end of this year,” Odrakiewicz announced.
MedApp offers innovative, unique software solutions for next-generation diagnostic imaging and digital medicine. Its technologies, based on artificial intelligence, mixed reality and 3D imaging, are used in a wide range of medical fields such as cardiology, diabetology, surgical oncology and many others.
