MedApp, an innovative Polish medtech company (SaMD – software as a medical device) listed in Warsaw and Frankfurt, has founded MedApp Germany GmbH, which will be responsible for expansion in the German-speaking markets (DACH). The company was registered in Düsseldorf with the support of the Trade and Investment Agency of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
– This is another important step in our international development. The founding of MedApp Germany GmbH enables us to increase our expansion and shareholder value. MedApp Germany GMbH, headquartered in Düsseldorf, will be our operational centre in the German-speaking markets and will also focus on the implementation of R&D projects. Germany, Austria and Switzerland are very important markets for us, and we want to make a good use of this potential”, stresses Krzysztof Mędrala, CEO of MedApp S. A.
– The market for medical applications in Germany is highly developed, with high health spending. We see interest in our technologies that make doctors’ work easier and more efficient, and increase patient comfort and safety. We are already conducting trade talks on the German-speaking markets, which confirm the sales potential of our technologies”, adds Chairman Krzysztof Mędrala.
In order to ensure efficiency right from the start, several employees of the Polish company are dedicated to work in the German-speaking markets during the initial period of operation of MedApp Germany GmbH and, over time, local specialists from Germany are to be employed.
