During the Annual General Meeting held on June 29, the Shareholders of MedApp S.A. decided to appoint Mr. Bogusław Bodzioch to the Supervisory Board. His candidacy was proposed by minority shareholders, whom he will represent on the Supervisory Board. In the opinion of the Management Board,the appointment of a representative of minority shareholders to the Supervisory Board will strengthen the transparency of the Company.
Mr. Boguslaw Bodzioch, a minority shareholder of MedApp, is professionally related to the manufacturing industry. In hiscareer to date, he has repeatedly served on the supervisory boards of various companies, including PRIME BIT GAMES and Dent-a-medical S.A.
“Both I, as the CEO of the Company, and the majority Shareholders are keen to have more communication opportunities and the ability to enable minority Shareholders to exercise supervision. The Board should reflect the ownership structure of the Company, andin MedApp S.A. Minority Shareholders account for nearly 40 percent. I am convinced that Mr. Bodzioch will bring new insights to the Board and actively represent minority shareholders in the Supervisory Board,”says Krzysztof Mędrala, CEO of MedApp, S.A.
At the AGM, Shareholders also voted to approve the financial statements, the Management Board’s report and the Supervisory Board’s report for 2020, as well as to acknowledge the fulfilment of duties for 2020 by individual Members of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board.
