MitraClip implementation procedure assisted by CarnaLife Holo technology

Product:  CarnaLife Holo Client University Clinical Hospital in Opole

We invite you to watch a video of the mitral valve sealing procedure in the #MitraClip technology (without opening the chest) using the #CarnaLifeHolo hologram.

The procedure was performed on November 18, 2021, by Jerzy Sacha, MD, PhD, FESC, FHRS, head of the medical team of the University Teaching Hospital in Opole (Uniwersytecki Szpital Kliniczny w Opolu).

CarnaLife Holo was used in planning the treatment and throughout the procedure.

I can say that the technology of three-dimensional visualization of diagnostic data is the future. Nobody should defend against it. We should all invest in our experience in holography – says Dr Jerzy Sacha.

Congratulations to the entire medical team:

🔹 Dr hab. n. med. Jerzy Sacha
🔹 Dr Krzysztof Krawczyk (cardiologist)
🔹 Dr Jarosław Bugajski (cardiologist)
🔹 Mateusz Stanisz (anesthesiologist)
🔹 Monika Świderska (instrumentalist
🔹 Małgorzata Werner (instrumentalists)
🔹 Danuta Radziszewska (anesthesiology nurse)
🔹 Filip Żuczek (X-ray technician).

And we would like to thank the management of the hospital for making the recording from the operating room possible.

The technological assistance was provided by Jakub Kasprzak and Kacper Pabianek from MedApp S.A., Tomasz Ogonowski from GE and Szymon Dziedzic (Abbott company).
